terms of
service.
Clear expectations before money changes hands. Read this before submitting a commission request.
1. General
By purchasing a commission, the client confirms that they have read and agreed to these terms before payment. I reserve the right to decline a request for any reason, including requests outside my comfort zone, scope, or platform rules.
2. Age requirement
Clients requesting mature or sexual content must be 18 or older. All characters depicted in sexual or explicitly mature content must be adults.
3. Pricing & quotes
Base commission prices are listed on the commission page. Add-ons or major scope changes may change the final total. The client will always receive the full approved total before payment is requested.
4. Approval & chat record
A submitted request is not automatically accepted. Approval occurs only when I send a written message that identifies the request by its request ID and confirms the accepted scope and final CAD total. Questions, requested changes, or acknowledgement of receipt do not count as approval.
5. Payment
Do not send payment before the commission has been approved. Payment is made only after the scope, total, turnaround, and revision allowance have been confirmed.
6. Scenario limit
Bots can hold a maximum of 10 scenario slots. For commissioned bots using a fresh scenario set, I write 9 scenarios and intentionally leave the final slot open for the bot user to create their own scenario. Paid scenario add-ons are not available.
7. Scope
The commission includes only the deliverables listed in the agreed scope. Major additions, concept changes, or new deliverables requested after work begins may require a new quote.
8. Revisions
Reasonable revisions are allowed only within the revision allowance agreed at the start. Revisions refine the commissioned concept; they do not automatically include a complete rewrite or a new concept.
9. Turnaround
Turnaround estimates are not guarantees unless a specific deadline is explicitly accepted in writing. Delays caused by missing information, late responses, or major scope changes may extend delivery.
10. Rush commissions
Rush work is subject to availability and carries a 30% surcharge because it requires prioritizing the commission ahead of the normal queue.
11. Refunds & cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on how much work has already been completed. Once substantial work has been delivered, refunds may be partial or unavailable.
12. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate references, preferences, and hard limits.
- Review drafts or questions within a reasonable timeframe.
- Do not request plagiarism or direct duplication of another client's custom work.
- Keep important approvals, changes, and payment decisions in writing.
13. Media-inspired commissions
Media-inspired bots involve additional research and are intended to be inspired by source material rather than exact reproductions of another creator's protected work.
14. Request Graveyard
Request Graveyard commissions are limited by the number of unused requests available. Predetermined tropes or scenarios are part of the selected request and may limit how much the original concept can be changed without requiring a new quote.
15. Bot Remasters
Remasters reuse the same character and focus on rewriting existing scenarios, cleaning up presentation, and adjusting visual material. Current remaster eligibility is limited to bots originally posted from April through June 2026.
16. Usage & ownership
Unless otherwise agreed, the client may use the final commission for personal use and on the platform it was commissioned for. Resale, redistribution, commercial use, or claiming the work as self-created is not permitted without separate written permission.
17. Portfolio use
I may display finished work or excerpts in my portfolio unless the client requests privacy before the commission is completed.
18. Platform rules
The finished commission must still comply with the rules of the platform where it is posted or used. I am not responsible for later policy changes, moderation decisions, or account restrictions.
